Before installation, it is essential to thoroughly clean the application area, removing dust, particles, and any residue that could compromise the pad’s adhesion. This cleaning process should be repeated each time the mat is replaced, after the 30 sheets have been used, to ensure consistent adherence to the floor.

This issue is far from negligible: improper adhesion of the base can lead to several problems, including:

• Reduced effectiveness of the adhesive mat
• Lifting of the mat, which may stick to the soles of shoes
• Risk of tripping or falling for personnel walking over it
