The client needed to secure three access points to different production areas, both for operators and pallet trucks, and chose to use washable decontamination mats, which yielded good results. Given the layout, they also decided to install lateral protections with a dual purpose: on one hand, to protect personnel moving through the area, and on the other, to force transport vehicles to pass over the mat in a straight line, preventing manoeuvres either on the mat or along its edges. In this way, a proper routine for using the mat was established—despite the human factor—without the need for any form of coercion.
